The Gokyo Lake Trek is an alternative to the traditional Everest Base Camp trek while still providing the trekker with plenty of stunning view of Everest and overnight stays in the iconic town of Namche Bazar, the gate way of the Khubu Region. The Gokyo Lakes are actually are actually made of six bodies of water or lakes located at altitude of 4700 to 5000M in the Gokyo Valley. Gokyo valleys falls within the Sagarmatha National Park area.

KATHMANDU – LUKLA FLIGHT
Breakfast at Hotel Fly to Lukla from Kathmandu (35min approx.) & Trek to Phakding We take a short flight from Kathmandu to Lukla Introduce your porter. After managing your luggage and then trek to Phakding (2610m), a small village in the Khumbu region of Nepal in the Dudh Kosi river valley. Easy and flat walking takes only around 04 hours. TREK FROM PHAKDING TO NAMCHE BAZZAR
Breakfast at Tea House Today we trek through the valley with the Dudh Kosi River at our side. On several occasions, you cross the Dudh Kosi River on suspension bridges before climbing higher before reaching the small village of Jorsale in the Khumbu region – just south of Namche Bazaar. After a two hour trek, you will finally reach Namche with some fascinating views along the way, including some spectacular views of captivating Mt. Everest. You enter the Sagarmatha National Park at Jorsale where authorities will check your license. Continuing on for another 5 or 6 hours of fairly hard going we arrive at Namche Bazaar. TREK FROM NAMCHE TO PHORTSE TENGA

TREK PHORTSE TENGA TO DOLE
Breakfast at Tea House The fifth day trek to Everest Base Camp and we are leaving maintain trail and head to Dole from Phortse Tenga. On the way we reach Mong village a very small village but very scenic as well. Sitting on the ridge, the view from here reach Tengboche and beyond .Enjoy waterfalls and rhododendrons on the way. Finally reaching the village of Dole, we will stop here for a night enjoying the spectacular surroundings. Dinner & Overnight and Tea House |

TREK DOLE TO MACHHERMO
Breakfast at Tea House Leaving Dole, there is an uphill gradient for around half an hour then gentle uphill the rest of the way.The Dudh Koshi river lies far below. TREK MACHHERMO TO GOKYO VILLAGE
Breakfast at Tea House After breakfast leaving Machhermo the trails heads up to another scenic ridge with views of Kangtega before heading through a narrow valley that leads into wider valley. The trail today is not tiring, only one or two steep sections. The trail descends to the Dudh Koshi River .It is a steep climb to the Ngozumpa Glacier and the first Gokyo Lake. As some and continue north the second lake appears .Unlike the small first lake ,this lake is quite long and runs parallel to the hiking trail. Further on we come to the Third lake and tea houses. There are 06 lakes in total falling under the name of Gokyo Lake .Here we stop for lunch and then climb up to Gikyo Ri.This takes 2.5 to 03hrs to climb up.The viewpoint at Gokyo Ri is a high 5,357M with a great panorama of mountain above and lakes and glaciers below. TREK TO GOKYO RI AND BACK TREK DOWN TO MACHHERMO
Early morning hike to the 4th Gokyo Lake. Trek is mostly flat trail and will take 45 to 60 Minutes approximate. After viewing the lake for some time return to Gokyo Tea House for breakfast then trek down to Machhermo. Lunch druing Trek Dinner & Overnight at TEA HOUSE |

TREK TO MACHHERMO TO NAMCHE
Breakfast at Tea House, Trek from Machhermo (4150M) to Namche Bazar. It takes approximate 05 hrs .The trail gently descend to Dole and then Starts descending steeply to Photse Tenga passing through rhododendron forest. Then ascends steeply to Mongla Danda and descends to Kyanjoma. Following small up and down trail to Namche. Lunch during Trek Dinner & Overnight at TEA HOUSE |

TREK FROM NAMCHE BAZAAR TO LUKLA
Breakfast at Tea House, Trek to Lukla from Namche Bazaar. It takes approximate 06 hrs. The Last day of your trek leads from Namche Bazaar via Monjo to Lukla.
